At The Butterfly Co., every product is thoughtfully handcrafted and carefully packed to reach you in perfect condition. Because our candles and home fragrances are scent-based, handcrafted and consumable in nature, we follow a strict no-returns and no-exchange policy once an order has been delivered.

This policy helps us maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and product integrity for all our customers.


Damaged, Leaked or Incorrect Products

In the unlikely event that your order reaches you damaged, leaked or incorrect, we will be happy to assist you with a replacement at no additional cost.

To help us resolve this quickly, please contact us within 24–48 hours of delivery at write2butterfly@gmail.com or 9836172222 with the following:
Your order number
Clear photographs of the outer packaging and the damaged/incorrect product
A complete unboxing video, from the moment you open the parcel until the issue is clearly visible (without cuts or edits)

Once our team reviews and verifies the details, a replacement will be dispatched.
If a replacement of the same product is not available, a refund may be issued to your original mode of payment.



Important Conditions

We do not accept returns or exchanges for opened, used or partially used products.
We do not accept returns based on personal fragrance preferences.
Requests made after 48 hours from the time of delivery will not be eligible for replacement or refund.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
Products purchased during sale, discount or promotional offers are not eligible for refund, except in cases of verified damage in transit.


Order Cancellations

Orders once placed cannot be cancelled after they have been processed or dispatched.
If you wish to request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible. We will assist you where feasible, depending on the order status.


Refund Timelines

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days. The exact time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Our candles, diffusers and aroma products are handcrafted, scent-based and consumable. Once opened, they cannot be resold or reused while maintaining our quality promise.
